JOEL STARKEY,A familiar face on the Northwest Ohio music scene, Joel Starkey has performed at local venues including The Gathering, Sycamore Lake Wine Company, Gillig Winery and many more. He has also performed for larger events such as county fairs, fundraising benefits and private parties spanning across the US and into Canada.
In spite of being born with a visual impairment, he has always maintained a positive attitude and discovered a true passion for music and entertaining. As a singer, keyboardist and songwriter, he first took the stage the week of his 8th birthday and has been performing ever since.
Joel loves to be in front of a crowd, putting smiles on faces while engaging them with his unique style of music and humor. Drawing from his endless repertoire, crossing many genres, combined with his authentic musical creativity, he can masterfully host a solo show. He is just as comfortable jumping in with a band, skillfully playing along. A true natural talent, he is gifted with the ability to play any song he hears, often leaving room for improvisation demonstrating his creativity.
